Holding Empathy Without Burnout

Caring is not the problem.

But carrying everything is.

When you’re constantly exposed to other’s pain, through the news, conversations, or social media, it can start to fell overwhelming.

This is often called compassion fatigue.

  • Setting emotional boundaries

  • Taking intentional breaks

  • Reminding yourself what is yours to carry
